Are we really a minority?

Hello dear World Creator,

In today´s world where hate and horrendous acts happen on a daily basis and it is being broadcasted 24/7 in many countries, it is no wonder why we are such harmful creatures. Even some of the kids I teach tell me that the last thing they see before going to bed is the news. And I am talking about kids ranging from 3 to 12. In other words, elementary. In other words, children. I am sure that their parents don´t notice it, don´t worry about it or think is for their benefit. For me, on the other hand, they are still kids. They need to be feed love and wonderful thoughts.

I also know for a fact throughout all my teaching and counseling experience that a lot of these children have nightmares and more scared and even more shy. It saddens my heart knowing that they are limiting these children, by something as simple as watching the news. But really, if you think about it, the only news that we have are death stories or gossip columns. Yes, once in a while, something nice pops up and it is treated like something extraordinary. On top of that, these children become more afraid and still. I am not saying that it is all of them, but a good deal in fact. They are being treated as adults in many other ways too, not only with news but with fashion. Not only those two but also technology, giving them huge power and responsibility on their hands.

This also concludes to the fact that they are the future. These are the children who will make future world decisions. Why hide them away instead of pushing them to their field of goals? Sure, some might think that since it is the future, there is no need to care. Missing the point, as soon as you start turning your day-to-day into a more positive or negative or whatever you like place, you are already helping the future since you are setting an example. Anyways, that is a whole other topic.

Most of what we see about real life is full of dark souls while what we see in entertainment is mainly full of sweet things. It really doesn´t balance out, because one is reality and the other one is make-believe. It really isn´t a sincere battle between the both.

Now, as you all know, I love to spread the love. This is what I love to do. I write motivational posts, I tell you my story and some others too. As I connect with more people in my environment, I can see that we are a lot. There are so many of us out there with positive, outgoing and loving things to say and give. It makes me realize that I am not alone in this, it makes me want to continue even more, it makes me love what I do.

All this talk about the media and news can be traced many years back. Back to the time where there was no color integration and before. Back where people wanted things to always stay the same. Back where people had no idea that we can all live together, no matter the race or color or anything. Therefore I can´t really say much more about its history since we all know it. What I can say, however, is that we need to start making bigger changes.

All the changes that we have achieved in the past is because someone made it possible. It was all because people stood for themselves and others. Their voices were heard loud and clear. Yet as the world evolved, it led to having more options. It led to having all sorts of opinion on anything and everything. This is good, I know. Freedom. Being able to speak your mind.

What we lost along the way was the union of it all. We need to unite together, we need to spread the word as far and wide as possible. For all those lovers, dreamers, believers and doers. For all those hard workers, amazing souls and great motivation posts that I see on a daily basis, we need to remember that love is more powerful. We need to remember that we aren´t a simple minority. We don´t need to cave in just because the world itself it gloomy.

Are we really a minority? Everywhere I look, I see good things happening and random people cheering each other on. From a football game to NGO´s achieving their goal. We need to remember that we are able to change the world into a more positive place. After all, it has gone through plenty, when will it be Love´s turn?

Through many years and many years that will come, countless changes will happen and also many things have and will stay the same. Let´s make Love one of them. Let´s spread it. With our writings, with our cheerfulness, with a comment on a page, with a like here and there, with respect, let´s spread the love. Keep going with those random acts of kindness, keep the good word going helping people in need. The bigger the action, the more media we get, the more media we get, the more people it can reach to.

I cheer you on every step of the way, spread the love in everything you do. Pay it forward. I am here writing to you from the bottom of my heart, I am here because I want to help people around the world. I have my idea, I have my goal to make this possible, I will keep going. I want to be the change.

Do you?

Spread the love,

The Always Believer
