Hello #GoDoFly Lovers!

Here we are to present to you the ninth one on the Wonderful Team Leadership Award list! For more info – http://thealwaysbeliever.com/wonderful-team-readership-award/

Today is from Alysdc! Such an inspirational young writer, filled with hope, well written words and mature points of view. Today is all about her and letting her shine, as she deserves. We had a tough time deciding which to pick. Seriously, so many good posts, from poems to opinions. We loved this one –  Is My Colour Your Colour? …. All about everyone’s perspective and how different and the same we all are… 🙂

Here´s to you Alysdc! For more talks and more great posts!

This is Day 15 of my Thought a Day posts, a poem querying the differences in people’s perceptions of colour. I have no clue what the scientific thoughts behind this idea are, but I know this has been quite a commonly debated topic, that can really hurt your mind if you think about it for too long.
From gothamvillage.org.uk

Is my colour your colour?

Because what words do we have?

Deep, light, bright, dark, pale, pastel, bold?
None of these words can create a certain colour…
All descriptions comparing to something physical –
purple like a flower, orange like the fruit, green like the grass…
Is my red your red?
Are your seeing the same tone, shining on the postbox?
Is my blue your blue?
Are you seeing the same shades roll across the sea?
Is my yellow your yellow?
Are you seeing the same hue radiate in the sky?
Is my colour your colour?
